What are the ABMC Online Contests?

The ABMC Online Contests consist of three contests in October, November, and December. Each contest contains fifteen questions.

All ABMC Online Contests must be done individually.

Eligibility note: ABMC is for students in or below 8th grade only. High schoolers can take it unofficially for fun, however!

Taking the contest

No preregistration is needed. When a contest begins, problems and the submission form will be posted on this page. Just visit our website once the competition starts.

The contest will be released at 10am on Saturday and the submission form will close at 11:30pm on Sunday night.

Participation is free.

When will these contests take place?

October Contest: October 17th-18th

November Contest: November 14th-15th

December Contest: TBD

Rules

No calculators, online resources, or other computational resources are admissible.

Drawing aids, such as rulers and protractors, are permissible. However, software such as GeoGebra is prohibited.

All answers are non-negative integers between 0 and 100,000.

Grading

Each problem is worth 1 point. There are no tiebreakers, and contestants with the same score will be ranked the same position on the leaderboard.
